Bank at School


The Longwood High School Bank at School is available to any student wishing to open an account with Teachers Federal Credit Union.

Teachers Federal Credit Union operates a “branch” in the Longwood High School store one day a week where students can open an account and conduct transactions.




·        $1 and school ID with photo needed to open an account (for students in Grades 9-11, parent must be joint applicant)

·        Services offered:  Checking accounts, savings accounts, ATM/debit cards, deposits, withdrawals ($50 maximum withdrawal)

·        Every account is insured up to $100,000 by the National Credit   Union Administration

·        Cash withdrawals can also be made at any TFCU branch or ATM

·        Internship opportunities are available.  If successful, student will be eligible for part-time employment and/or summer seasonal employment after graduation from high school


TEACHERS FEDERAL CREDIT UNION also conducts classroom presentations each year to all Freshman Seminar classes.  These presentations are designed to give an overview of banking to our students/young financial planners.  Topics covered include types of bank accounts, maintaining a checking account, obtaining and managing credit, and savings.
