Career Experience Internship Program

Career Experience Internship Program

CEIP is a one-semester, non-paid internship, designed to assist students in understanding the correlation between school and work. The objective of this course is to give employed students exposure to careers of their own choosing.

Students will spend 54 hours working in various job placements with one or more employers, and will complete 27 hours of in-school instruction which will be scheduled as one class meeting each week. Scheduling will be arranged between the instructor and the students. Students may rotate through three different career interests while enrolled in CEIP.

CEIP is offered to students in eleventh and twelfth grades. Students planning to enroll in CEIP must be able to provide their own transportation to and from their job placement. CEIP students will earn 1/2 elective credit.
