Attention juniors: you can pick up packets to purchase jr prom tickets all week in the school store. Tickets will only be sold April 1-3rd in the the student government office. You must have the packet filled out in order to purchase your tickets. 


The Rotary Interact Club will meet after school today in room 1709.


There is a mandatory meeting for the peers of BEST BUDDIES on Wednesday, 3/27/19 , after school in the ARTS ROOM of the library.  This meeting is for PEERS only.  See any of the advisors if you have questions. 


Attention Seniors who have Senior parking privileges, please stop by Mr. Ahmed’s office in room 1105 to get a Spring sticker.  All insurance and registration needs to be up to date.

SENIORS - bring all of your acceptance letters and scholarship awards from the colleges to your counselor as you get them so we can include them in the graduation program.  Copies will be made for your file. 


The best buddies prom is coming up  March 30th and peer buddies please bring in drinks for the prom. You can bring them to Mrs. McCarthys office in 1509


Seniors, scholarship opportunities are coming in daily.  Ms. Garrett is sending them to your Naviance emails weekly.  Be sure to check Naviance and follow the instructions for applying.  There is lots of money being offered to help pay for college.  You need to apply to have a chance to get some of it.


Class of 2021 will be hosting this years Stay-awake-athon.  The date is quickly approaching; Friday, April 12th. Please make sure you pick up your information packet in the school store and get those sponsors to donate.  All are welcome.

The deadline is approaching for the Three Peaks Scholarship.  Three Peaks offers up to 5 scholarships to deserving LHS graduating athletes who show strong perseverance and leadership qualities in the classroom, on the athletic field and in the community should apply.  Applications are available in the counseling center and should be returned to Ms. Garrett in counseling south no later than 2 PM on April 1st.


LHS PTSA scholarship applications are available and are due to the counseling center by Tuesday, April 16.  No late applications will be accepted.  Don't miss out on this opportunity to apply.


Attention all 10th graders interested in applying for the HOPE program, the applications are available in the school-to-career office located in guidance south.


All BUTY members and any hosts or dancers from the Dance Off- Reminder- the scholarship essay for seniors is due to Ms. Ioanna on April 8. Expectations for the essay are on BUTY's Google Classroom page

It's that time again!  The National Honor Society will be hosting our last volleyball tournament of the school year on Wednesday, April 3rd.  The tournament will be from 7-9pm in the main gym and sign-up sheets are in the school store.  Space is limited so please sign up soon!
