ALL SPECTATORS MUST FOLLOW THE LONGWOOD CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT AND SECTION XI SPECTATOR CODE OF CONDUCT.   TO ENHANCE THE SAFETY AND SUPERVISION FOR ALL PRESENT, ALL MINORS UNDER THE AGE OF 15 MUST BE UNDER THE DIRECT SUPERVISION OF AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES.  NO MINOR UNDER THE AGE OF 15 WILL BE ADMITTED TO AN EVENT OR ATHLETIC COMPETITION WITHOUT BEING ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.  STUDENTS THAT HAVE HAD ANY DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO ATTEND UNLESS PRIOR APPROVAL HAS BEEN GIVEN BY AN ADMINISTRATOR.

 

The Leo Club and the Art Honor Society have partnered up and they are sponsoring a Thanksgiving Food Drive.  Donations of non-perishable food can be dropped off in the giant turkey bin located in the main office or the Thanksgiving bin by the visitor’s center.

 

Literary Club will meet today after school in room 2303.

 

Final payment for the Senior Trip is due and will be collected in the LGI beginning today during periods 1 – 7. 

 

The National Honor Society would like to thank everyone who made our Charity Volleyball Tournament a success last night.  Congratulations to the winning team, LVL Part II consisting of:

The Media and Design Club will meet Thursday of this week. 

 

Longwood High School Theater proudly presents William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.  Come and see our award winning actors and stage crew in action as they bring this timeless tale of star-crossed lovers and their feuding families to life. Performances are this Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 2pm and 7pm in the auditorium. Admission is free, with a suggested donation of one canned food item.

 

Best Buddies will meet today in cafe 1. We have a fun and busy meeting planned.  Pre-ordered t-shirts will be distributed...additional t-shirts are $15.00.  See any of the advisors with questions.

 


Hot fresh cheesy pizza will be on sale after school in cafe 1 and front of the auditorium.

 

If you are a student who is at least 16 years of age and interested in a seasonal employment opportunity at Homesense in Riverhead?  Stop by the School-to-Career Office in Guidance South for information.

 

School pictures for grades 9, 10 and 11 are available for pickup in the Main Office.

    

A 4 day ski or snow boarding trip to Vermont is now open to sign up.  Any student in grades 9-12 are welcome!   See Mr. Dillon for application packet.
