Central Registration

2019-2020 Online Registration is Open! 

Online registration will take approximately 20-30 minutes for the first child, and less time for subsequent siblings in the same household. If you need to step away, be sure to save your session and log back in to resume registration.

Follow the steps below to begin your child's registration process.

Step 1: To begin the online registration process, gather the necessary documentation listed below.  All documentation must be uploaded to PowerSchool Enrollment.

Proof of residency in the school district. A parent must provide one of the following documents to establish proof of residency: a Town of Brookhaven tax bill, a deed, mortgage statement; if renting, a lease and two utility bills (PSEG and phone/water bill), or the district's Affidavit of Landlord, plus proof of landlord's ownership, i.e., tax bill/deed.  Click here for Affidavit Landlord form.

An original birth certificate with a raised seal or a passport

Immunization dates from a physician signed or a previous school. 
As of June 13, 2019, there is no longer a religious exemption to the requirement that children be vaccinated against measles and other diseases to attend public, private or parochial school. Children who do not have the required immunizations, must receive the first dose of vaccinations 14 days from the start of school.  Within 30 days of the first day of school, parents must show they have made appointments for all required follow-up doses.  Please check the CDC link below for a catch-up immunization schedule.

To access PowerSchool Enrollment in Spanish, click on the globe located on the upper right corner of the screen.

If this is the first child you are registering in the district through the PowerSchool online registration form, you will be required to create an PowerSchool Enrollment account before you can proceed. This account can be used to register any other children in the future as well. Please note that this is NOT a PowerSchool Parent Portal account username and password.

Step 3: You will receive an email message from Central Registration informing you of the status of your submission



Technical Support is provided by PowerSchool Enrollment as follows: 

If a parent needs assistance with completing the online form, there is a “Help” button on the right side of the PowerSchool Enrollment screen that provides technical support via email or phone. Parents have access to the “Help” link after they have created their online account. At this point in the registration process, the technical support is provided by PowerSchool Enrollment Registration, the online/off-site vendor.  Central Registration does not have access to the account before the online registration is completed.
