Including, but not limited to:
- Coordinate the recruitment and screening of all staff (certified and classified)
- Provide New Teacher Orientation & Aspiring Administrators Workshop Series
- Maintain personnel records for each staff members such as:
- attendance
- status changes (Probationary, Tenured, Leave of Absence, etc.,)
- educational advancement
- seniority lists
- preferred eligibility list for laid-off staff
- BEDS & APPR data
- certification status
- mentoring tracking
- professional development hours for professional certificate holders
- Oversee employee fringe benefits (health, dental, etc.)
- Comply with legal requirements such as:
- Title VI & IX
- Equal Opportunity Employment
- Participate in collective bargaining sessions for unionized employee groups
- Serve a resource to the Board of Education, administrative staff and district counsel on personnel-related issues
- Liaison to the Board of Education’s Safety Committee
- Supervise Director of School Safety
- Participate in the Crisis Response Team
- Oversee Teacher Mentoring Activities
