Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear quails, happy birthday to you. The science club is proud to announce the birth of 68 quails in the classroom. They arrived Sunday May 19th and Monday May 20th. Thank you to everyone who symbolically adopted a quail to help make this happen. Congratulations to all the parents.

 

Volunteers are needed to help with Sports Day in two weeks on Thursday, June 6.  Please either send an e-mail to Ms. Miller at the JHS to sign up or sign up through her JHS class website.  Volunteers should meet at the main gym on Thursday, June 6, right after 9th period to help set up.  The event will go until about 5 PM.

 

All students interested in applying for Longwood Travels next February must attend one of the following informational meetings: Wednesday and Thursday May 29/30th at 1:45 in the LGI and Friday May 31st at 1:45 in room 1150. If you do not attend one of the meetings, you will NOT be able to apply for the trip. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Tapia or Ms. Florio.

   

 Any students interested in applying for the Suffolk Community College STEP program for next school year, please meet Ms. Cronin after school on Thursday May 30th for a brief informational meeting in room 2202.

 

All students going to Fleet week tomorrow need to be at the school by 6am.  The bus will depart promptly at 6:15am.

 

Anyone going to the Victory Challenge with Mrs. McCarthy and Mr. Mrose please meet at the Jr. High school at 6:15 in the morning on May 31st. Buses will be leaving promptly so please don't be late!

 

The National ART Honor Society induction ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 29th.  Your participation is mandatory.  If you are not there, you will not be inducted.  Graduating Seniors must attend to receive their tassel and honor cord.

 

Attention all seniors, senior prom packets are available in the school store.  Tickets will be on sale June 3rd to June 5th.

 

Attention athletes if you are planning to play a Fall sport, please stop by Health Office to check on your eligibility.

 

The lost and found is located in the school store.  All items not claimed will be donated to charity in late June.
