TODAY IS TUESDAY, APRIL 24, 2018 AND IT IS A “B” DAY


AP STUDENTS - A makeup day for registration will be held on 
Wednesday, April 25 in Cafe 1 @1:40 - This is the last registration day of registration.

 

Science Club will meet today after school in room 2610

 

Liberty Partnerships Tutoring for Tuesday from 2-3 pm is as follows:

Algebra 2 & Geometry with Ms. Zitterman in room 2506.

ELA with Ms. Skadl and Social Studies with Ms. Streim both in room 1200.

French with Ms. Portal in room 1210.

 

The Class of 2018 senior prom will be held on Friday, June 8 at East Wind Caterers.  Senior prom packet with full details including sale dates and times are now available in the school store.

 

The Environmental Club is selling T-Shirts and water bottles in front of the Teacher’s Center.  T-shirts are $15. and water bottles are $10.

 

Any boy soccer player interested in playing JV summer soccer should attend practice Wednesday 4/25 and Monday 4/30 at Charles E. Walters back-field at 7pm.

 

All students are welcome to come on the Celtic Quest charter-boat fishing trip.  See Mr. Dillon or your P.E. teacher for a permission slip.

  

All returning Girls Soccer players should see Mr. Percontino in Room 1202 before school or after school to inquire about Summer League.

 

Would you like to tape one of your teachers to a wall?  Stop by the front of the teacher center from now until April 24th to cast your vote for $1.  All proceeds will go towards scholarships for National Honor Society members.

 

Seniors:  It is very important that you bring your college acceptance/ non- acceptance letters and all scholarships or grants awarded by all of the colleges to your counselor as soon as you get them.  Copies will be made for you.  Colleges and scholarships will be listed in the graduation program.  You will need to request a final transcript be sent to the college you have chosen to attend.   

 

THE FIRST ANNUAL SOCCER TOURNAMENT HOSTED BY THE NATIONAL FOREIGN LANGUAGE HONOR SOCIETY WILL TAKE PLACE ON THURSDAY MAY 3RD AT 7 PM IN THE NEW GYM.   5 PLAYERS PER TEAM !  PICK UP THE REGISTRATION FORM IN THE SCHOOL STORE AND  REGISTER YOUR TEAM BY MAY 1ST.  COME ONE, COME ALL, LET'S SCORE A GOAL !

 

THERE WILL BE A CLASS OF 2021 MEETING TODAY.

 

A Stony Brook University's Dean of the College of Arts and Science, along with a panel of Stony Brook professors, will be hosting a workshop on "How to Choose a College Major" Tuesday, April 24th at 7 pm in the auditorium.

Best Buddies will have our April meeting THIS WEDNESDAY, 4/28, after school.  All buddies and peers should bring a white tee-shirt for our tie dye activity.

 

Congratulations to the boys varsity tennis team on their team win over rocky point on senior night !!!  Key wins by seniors Anthony Toledo,  Dan Grygorek  and  Matt Brown set the tone for the Lions. Bryan Smith at first singles and freshman’s Luke Heron and Logan Viruet at 3 rd doubles sealed the victory.

 

The Rotary Interact Club will be collecting new to lightly used blankets, cloth towels, and paper towels to be donated to SAVE-A-PET.  Please bring these items to the main office or room 1709.  We will be collecting until April 20th.  Thank you from our furry friends.
